D&D Basic

So I just downloaded the D&D basic PDF, just skimmed it really superficially. Over 100 pages and it's character creation, combat and exploration rules foe levels 1 to 20.  On a skim the only surprises were how shallow the bonus curve is and how few EXP it takes to level up. I haven't seen any of the playtest stuff so this is really day 1 for 5th edition D&D for me. I'll probably post some more about it today.
